Desired Skills:

Evidence of an advanced degree in Business Analytics, IT, or a related field
Experience working in a higher education setting, preferably with higher education student data
Experience with Alteryx and evidence of certification are a plus
Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, and complex joins as well as basic ETL functions
Ability to develop and execute queries and reports within a database including Redshift, Postgres, or related
Ability to proficiently manipulate, report, and analyze enterprise data
Advanced data visualization skills in Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or related
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as the corresponding Google Suite tools including docs, sheets, and slides
Ability to work effectively in an environment requiring balancing multiple competing deadlines and priorities
Skill managing small to medium-sized projects
Experience with Jira or related project management tools
Skill in thinking critically and developing creative solutions to challenging problems

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a closely related field AND six years prior relevant experience in a large, multi-user data environment including responsibility for the development of customized queries and reports OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
